Origin Story
Every hero has one. Ours starts with a kid, a long box, and a mall in upstate New York.
1985
Rich Strong buys his first comics and his first page of original art. The collection — and the problem — begins.
1989 – 1991
Store manager at Carousel Center in Syracuse for the Same Bat Time, Same Bat Channel comic chain. Learns the business one Wednesday at a time.
1991 – 1995
Opens Uncanny Comix in Great Northern Mall, then a second store, Books & Memories, in Syracuse. Runs both successfully before selling them to go to law school.
